Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
This site should work for everyone — whether you use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on high contrast, or adjust text size. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical baseline for a static portfolio, and we take it seriously rather than treating it as a checkbox.
What we have in place
- Semantic HTML structure so screen readers can navigate headings and landmarks without friction.
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation throughout the site.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative elements are hidden from assistive tech.
- Colour contrast meeting the 4.5:1 minimum for body text and key UI elements.
- A skip link at the top of every page so you can jump straight to the content.
Where we fall short
YouTube embeds are outside our control and may not fully meet the same standard. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, but the player interface is theirs.
Tell us if something is broken
Accessibility issues are bugs, not edge cases. If you hit a barrier, a missing label, a keyboard trap, or contrast that does not work for you, please reach out via the Contact page. We will look at it.
