Biography

Tanta Jorekenta Ginting is an Indonesian actor, musician, and presenter with roots in Karo culture. He spent formative years in the United States, completed engineering-oriented studies, and returned to Indonesia to pursue performance full time—first in music and musical theater, then on screen.

Early visibility came through band work and stage musicals, followed by film roles spanning historical drama, action, horror, and comedy. His breakout dramatic turn as Sutan Sjahrir in Soekarno earned major festival recognition and helped establish a long-running career across theatrical releases and streaming series.

Alongside acting, he continues to record and perform—most notably with the group Arah, releasing music tied to both standalone singles and film collaborations.
