Tanta Jorekenta Ginting is an Indonesian actor, musician, and presenter with roots in Karo culture. After completing engineering studies in the United States and a stint in the tech industry, he returned to Indonesia in 2008 to pursue performance full time — first in music and musical theater.

In 2013 he played Sutan Sjahrir in Hanung Bramantyo's Soekarno, earning Best Supporting Actor at Festival Film Bandung 2014 and Best Male Newcomer at the Maya Awards 2014, and opening a long run across theatrical features and streaming series.

Since then he has worked across genres: action, horror, family drama, comedy, including the international action picture The Shadow Strays (2024, Timo Tjahjanto) and the Karo-language drama Tulang Belulang Tulang (2024). Alongside acting, he continues to record and perform with the band Arah.
